	AV-Comparatives’teki antivirüs test uzmanları Avira AntiVir Premium’u 2008’in en iyi antivirüs çözümü seçtiler. Avusturya’daki uluslararası test merkezine rağbet oldukça yüksek. Test edilen tüm ürünler birçok periyodik testte ortalama tespit oranını geçerek kendilerini ispatlamak durumundalar ve ayrıca proaktif tespite de özellikle önem veriliyor. Testler sırasında antivirüs çözümlerinin hemen hemen hiç yanlış alarm verilmemesi ve taramanın da bilgisayarların performansını etkilememesi gerekiyor. Çalışmama, sistemi durdurma ve diğer yazılım hataları da AV-Comparatives’in nakavt kriterleri arasında sayılıyor. Avira tüm testleri çok iyi oranlarla tamamladı.
	AVIRA AntiVir’in performansı ve kapsamlı koruması bağımsız test kuruluşları tarafından sürekli onaylanıyor. Avira Ağustos testleri sonunda 3 yıldızla AV-Comparatives ADVANCED+ ödülünün sahibi oldu.

	Son karşılaştırma testinde; Avira virüs koruması ve güvenlik için en yüksek onayı elde ederek, otuzüçüncü kez VB100 ödülünü aldı. Virüs Bültenin kalite mühürü için şüphesiz, yazılımın tüm "In the Wild" virüslerini, talebe dayalı ve gerçek-zamanlı taramada, hiç hata olasılığı kullanmadan tespit etmesi en büyük faktördü. Avira IT güvenlik uzmanları, test mühendislerini mükemmel test oranı ve hızlı kötümcül yazılım taraması ile yine etkilemeyi başardı.
	Avira AntiVir Alman dergisi PC-Welt okuyucuları için çok popüler bir yazılım: Marka Bilinirliliği Çalışmasında Alman IT güvenlik uzmanlarının virüs koruması Güvenlik Yazılımı kategorisinde ilk sırayı aldı. Bu yıl 15,839 okuyucu ankete katıldı. IDG PC WORLD ürün hattı 24 ürün alanında, 3232 üreticinin, 493 IT markasıını analiz etti.
	Avira’ya 3 yıldız: AV-Comparatives Avira AntiVir Premium’u en yüksek ödüle layık gördü ‘Advanced Plus Award***’. Bu geniş ölçekli test ile Avira güvenlik uzmanları proaktif tespit performansı ile mükemmel bir skor elde etti. “Hız” kategorisinde kazananlar podyumuna çıkmak için en düşük hata oranını almayı başardı. Testin Şubat 2008’deki ilk bölümünde de Avira AntiVir Premium mükemmel sonuçlar elde etmişti.
	Avira AntiVir Windows Workstation, versiyon 7.06.00.507, tüm kategorilerde birinci sınıf performans gösterdi ve VB100 ödülüne hak kazandı. Virüs Bülten ortalamanın üzerinde esneklik ve mükemmel hızından dolayı Avira Engine'den özellikle bahsetti.
Mart 2008	Uluslararası ProtectStar test laboratuvarı 13 güvenlik süitini test etti. “Protect Star Award 2008” Avira Premium Security Suite'e gitti. Güvenliği farklı ağırlıktaki kategorilerde (%50), kullanıcı dostu olma ve değer (%50 birleşik) olarak test ettiler.
	Son test Şubat 2008'de onaltı antivirüs çözümünün tespit oranları test edildi. Programlar 1.7 milyon virüs, worm, backdoors, trojans ve diğer kötümcül yazılıma maruz bırakıldı. Her zaman olduğu gibi Avira AntiVir Premium diğer test adaylarına karşı eşsiz performansını gösterdi.
Şubat 2008	Anti-Malware.ru güncel virüs tarayıcılarının polimorfik virüsleri ne kadar iyi tespit ettiklerini inceler. Avira'nın IT gücenlik uzmanları bu testlerde altın ödül aldılar – kısa sürede 3 kez ödül!

	AV-Comparatives'in testlerinde anti-virus yazılımlarını test etmek için bilinen bir proje ile liderlik pozisyonun başarılı bir şekilde korumuştur. Son testlerde manuel arama akışı(on-demand) ile bilinen üreticilerin 17 virüs tarayıcısının tespit oranları kontrol edildi. Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium versiyon 7.04.00.57 da test edildi.
	Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic Chip Online tarafından yapılan testlerde 1.sıraya yerleşti. Classic versiyonun kazandığı ödüller ve uluslararası arenada tanınması trendi ile sürekli devam ediyor. Bilinen IT dergisi CHIP'in web yayını CHIP online, AntiVir, Avast ve AVG ürünlerinin ücretsiz versiyonlarını derinlemesine test etti. Çeşitli tipteki kötü niyetli kodun tespit oranları ve yeni antivirüs güncelleme süreleri için test edildi. Sonuç: Avira'nın güvenlik çözümü kazananlar platformunda en ön sıradaydı!
	Linux Enterprise Server 10 için AntiVir Suse altında Nisan'da başarılı bir testten sonra, Windows XP SP2 üzerinde AntiVir ödülü almak içim Wildlist'teki virüsler, makro virüsler, polymorfik virüsler, solucanlar, ayrıca DOS virüsleri tespit etmek zorundaydı. Avira bu tehditlerin sürekli yüksek tespit performansı ile üstesinden gelmeyi başardı – ve hiç hata pozitifi olmadan, bunun anlamı AntiVir testteki sadece virüs bulaşmış dosyaları tespit etti ve hiçbir temiz dosyayı virüs ilan etmedi. Ek olarak virüs tarayıcısının yüksek tespit oranı ve kullanıcı dostu olmasından özellikle bahsedildi.

	PC World galibi: Avira AntiVir Mobile. PC World cep telefonları, PDA'lar ve akıllı telefonlar için virüs korumasını inceledi. Sonuç PC World'te ve Avira'da mutlu yüzler: virüs avcıları 1 (çok iyi), 6 (çok kötü) üzerinden 1,5 puan aldılar.
	AntiVir, the internationally recognised high quality antivirus protection from Avira has been awarded the prestigious “VB100% Award” for the eighth time. AntiVir mastered the comprehensive comparative test, detected all “ITW viruses” and received this sought-after recognition.
	In the second part of the AV-Comparative Test, 15 virus scanners of well-known vendors were again tested for their proactive detection performance. One of these was the Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium Version 7.01.01.02. It achieved excellent results in two of the three test runs and as a result won the Advanced+ Award. Avira AntiVir had already achieved a very good result in the first test, the detection rate only.
	A total of 15 virus scanners of renowned manufacturers were examined in the current test in terms of its detection rate with manual search runs (on demand). Among them was: the Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Premium in the version 7.01.01.02. Avira AntiVir scored on all levels of the test. In this manner, the Avira solution was not only certified for its best detection of backdoors but also for its excellent dialer detection. The AntiVir search engine even achieved the best value of all tested single scan engine products in the general valuation.
	Avira has succeeded in renewing its certification from TÜV Saarland for the professional AntiVir virus scanner. In the years 2004, 2005 and 2006 the company already obtained the test seal for 100 per cent detection of all "in the wild" viruses. This time, the virus protection solution again passed the tests without trouble. This underscores the consistent, reliable quality of the Avira AntiVir products.
	Currently, Avira AntiVir was tested on Windows XP and its performance earned the product a well-deserved VB 100% award. The product detected all ITW viruses and did not miss any virus in any of the other test sets. Furthermore it did not cause any false positive.
	The German IT magazine COMPUTERBILD tested in the c issue 11/2006 seven antivirus solutions from different antivirus producers. Some of the test criteria were the detection and removal of viruses, Trojans backdoors as well as the search speed and the usability of the program. According to the testers, Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic 7.0 (test result: satisfactory) "has by far the best virus detection and the best removal capacity".
	The most popular antivirus software AntiVir gave proof of its high quality standard. It is the ninth time that the antivirus solution receives the VB 100% Award. In the comparative test made on the Red hat Linux 9 operative system, the virus scan managed to convince the jury through its excellent mal ware detection rate as well as the ease of use.
	Avira AntiVir won the readers‘ choice of the computer magazine PC Welt as the best security solution of the year 2005. “The Pc Welt award is assigned to those IT manufacturers which have achieved 100 percent satisfaction from our readers”, explained Andreas Perband, chief editor of PC Welt, on the occasion of the award.
	The popular German Internet portal CHIP Online has published the best freeware products of the year 2006 in ten categories. The winners of the wide Chip download readers’ choice are nominated: Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic is the winner in the category of security.
	The computer publication PC Magazin organized an award festivity, during which it honored the winners of the Readers' Choice 2006. In the "Security Tools" category, the German security specialist Avira GmbH received the desired Award "Product of the year 2005/2006" for its antivirus solution AntiVir.
	AntiVir has detected all ITW-viruses by one hundred percent - the Virus Bulletin has certified this in the comparison test which was recently carried under Windows 2003 Advanced Server. AntiVir was awarded for the seventh time without interruptions with the VB 100% Award..
	Virus Bulletin 100% - the quality mark of the most renowned specialist journal for virus protection and IT-security world-wide, certifies in February 2005 that the tested virus scanner has detected all "In The Wild" viruses by 100% on the operating system Windows NT Workstation.
	Avira GmbH has enhanced its portfolio by an important product for SAP business solutions with the first virus scanner "AntiVir Virus Scan Adapter" SAP ever has certified. "AntiVir Virus Scan Adapter" integrates into the technology platform SAP NetWeaver and monitors the data exchange of SAP applications. The new product from the product line AntiVir has fulfilled the strict criteria of the SAP certification process and is entitled to bear the certificate "SAP Certified Integration".
	Avira GmbH earns a VB 100% award for the third time this year for the detection of all ITW (In The Wild Viruses) in the AntiVir Windows Server test. The distinctive GUI (Graphical User Interface), designed for a user-friendlier server use, was especially praised.
	Avira GmbH has received the award "Innovation of the month" from the federal state of Baden-Württemberg for the product "AntiVir" within the framework of the medium-sized initiative ebigo.de. The editorial, herewith, prizes a virus protection program which enables enterprises to protect their IT networks effectively against malicious code, especially from the Internet.
	AntiVir obtains the "Virus Bulletin 100%-Award" again. This time for the operating system Windows XP Professional. The award certifies once more that the tested virus scanner has detected all "In the Wild" viruses by 100%.
	Virus Bulletin 100% - the quality mark of the most international renowned specialist journal for virus protection and IT-security, confirmed in April 2004, that the tested virus scanner has detected all "In The Wild" viruses by 100% in a detailed comparative test on the operating system Red Hat Linux 9.
	The independent International Computer Security Association (ICSA) is a test association that only gives awards to products that achieve excellent performances.
	Avira GmbH works especially close together with the BSI (Federal Office for IT Security) regarding the AntiVir Personal Edition, in order to additionally offer a reliable virus protection within a private environment.
